Lawrence Austin Loftin, 90, was born on September 24, 1933, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of James K. Loftin and Canny (Martin) Loftin. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cathie Loftin; brother, Neil Loftin; sisters, Vada Arnold, Lorene (Loftin) Stoval, Ann (Loftin) Jonson and June (Loftin) Wilson.

Lawrence was a carpenter and builder by trade, he lived and raised his family in California until they returned to Hugo in the 70's. He could build anything that he was asked to do, from cabinets to furniture. Lawrence loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing but he especially loved to deer hunt. He also enjoyed water skiing and being on the water. Lawrence loved his family and enjoyed every minute spent with them. His family will cherish the many memories they have of him.

Lawrence is survived by his son, Lawrence Lynn Loftin and wife, Margaret of Messer, OK; daughters, Valerie Gee and husband, Wade of Antlers, OK and Robin Loftin of Newberry, FL; grandchildren, Amber Rice and husband, T.J., Austin Loftin, Laura Loftin, Rowdy Loftin, Cass Loftin, Loydena Beck and husband, Chuck, Michelle Weaver and husband, Ryan and Regina Hise; great grandchildren, Kaston Loftin, Taylor Cushman, Albaine Beck, Chandler Beck, Kincade Hise, Kaden Hise, Nathan Weaver and Benton Weaver and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
