Kenneth Ray Swink, 87, was born in Swink, OK, the son of Jourdan W. Swink and Sally Austin (Powers) Swink. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Louise (Benefield) Swink; brothers, Albert Swink and David Swink and sisters, Dorah Jean Swink and Retha Swink.

Kenneth lived in Wake Village, TX. He married the love of his life, Mary, on September 23, 1963, in LaPuente, California and they had 55 wonderful years together. Kenneth was a caring, gentle man and was always a gentleman, even in his last days. He was an electrician by trade and was very good at it. Kenneth was a hard worker, but rarely broke a sweat. His coworkers often teased him because he could work tirelessly without even a drop of sweat. Kenneth was a big supporter of his boys and loved to watch them play sports and coach them. He was never too tired to play catch or work on a dirt bike for his sons. If they missed a catch, he would call them 'Sister' and it would infuriate them but was his way of making them hustle and work hard. Kenneth loved his family and tinkering on anything he could get his hands on. He helped build many churches and he and Mary helped just about anywhere they could. Kenneth loved to watch sports and was a very good basketball player. He loved to walk, especially after being electrocuted 1979, but God wasn't done with him, he continued to be a very good father and husband to his family. Kenneth will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones.

As Billy Graham once said, "Someday you will read or hear that I am dead. Don't believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address."

Kenneth is survived by his sons, Steven Swink and wife, Allison of Waxhaw, NC and Ben Swink and wife, Lisa of Wake Village, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Swink, Tyler Swink and Kylee Swink and brothers, J.W. Swink and Bill Swink.
