Beverly Kay (Garner) Hilburn was born on October 17, 1955, in Denton, TX, the daughter of L.D. Garner and Tommye Lou (Frierson) Garner. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Michael Garner and David Garner.

Kay married the love of her life, Lonnie Hilburn on April 4,1975 in Paris, TX. They started their life together in Messer, OK and lived and raised their family there for over 30 years. Kay was also one of the first members of the Messer Fire Department and served for many years helping the community. She had a servant's heart and loved caring for her patients at Baptist Village in Hugo. She retired after 15 years of service and enjoyed being home taking care of her grandkids, her horses, visiting her neighbors and going fishing any chance she could. Kay also loved watching NASCAR races on TV,  she would watch with her mother every Sunday evening and her family will continue the tradition.  Above all else, Kay was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kay is survived by her loving husband, Lonnie Hilburn of the home; sons, David Hilburn and wife, Maci of Messer, OK and Michael Hilburn and wife, Dot of Messer, OK; grandchildren, Dawson Hilburn, Mason Hilburn, Brantley Hilburn, A.J. Hilburn and wife, Brittany, and Trent Hilburn; great grandchildren, Trystan Hilburn and Taw Hilburn; brother, Roger Garner of Paris, TX; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
