Katie Belle Boddie, 89, was born on September 12, 1934, in Jayton, Texas, the daughter of Alfred Benton and Myrtle (Hawkins) Benton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Perry Boddie; son, Floyd Steven McKeown; grandson, Steven Hicks; brothers, Jack Benton, John Benton and W.R. Benton and sister, Victory Hendricks.

Katie lived most of her life in Waco, Texas. She married her beloved husband, Perry, in 1977 in Fort Worth. She worked as a waitress for many years and enjoyed taking care of her children and home. Katie liked to be at home, watching TV and loved to spend time with her family. Her family will miss her greatly.

Katie is survived by her daughter, Paula Hicks of Durant, OK; grandchildren, Allen Hicks, Jeremy Johnson, Christopher Boddie and J.R. Hicks; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
