Kathleen Elizabeth Smith went to her forever home on July 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family in Paris, Texas.  Kathleen was born on January 12, 1928, in Addington, Oklahoma, to Lonzo Wilkerson and Lottie (Walton) Wilkerson. She was preceded in death by her parents; one half-brother; three half-sisters; sons, Michael Strain, Wayne Strain, and Joby Don Smith; four infant children; great grandchild, Christian Burks; and great-great grandchildren, Ryleigh James and Oaklynn Stafford.

Kathleen was a woman of many loves and talents. She was an amazing seamstress, working many years in that industry. Kathleen also loved cats and raising show quality Siamese kittens. She was an avid reader, enjoyed word searches, and bird watching. She loved cardinals, especially. Kathleen was a simple woman and loved the little things in life like an ice-cold Dr. Pepper and a chocolate bar. However, her greatest love in life was her family. Being with them was her greatest joy. Kathleen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Linda Powell of Madill, OK; sons, Clifford Strain and wife Charla of Idabel, OK and Steven Strain and wife Jan of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Chris Strain and wife Christina, Karen Coleman, Kimberly Powell-Pendleton and husband Tommy, Steven Strain Jr. and wife Flecia, Derrik Strain, Michael Smith and wife Tamae and Steven Smith and fiancé Selah; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Strain, James Burks, Colman Burks, Weston Coleman and Macy, Seth Coleman and fiancé Bailey, Beth Coleman, Kyle Wisener and wife Tonya, Kayla Pendleton-Stafford and husband Daniel, Laken Pendleton, Shaylee Pendleton, Dominic Jones, CJ Strain, Secret Strain, Dylan Strain, Zsadist Smith, Nalla Smith, Yukina Smith, and Lila Smith; great-great grandchildren, Kaiden Coleman, Logan Wisener, Carter Borden, Lily Borden, and Camden Jones; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
