Katherine Pauline (Albertson) Hood, 74, was born on April 22, 1951, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph Thomas Albertson and Betty Jean (Daniels) Albertson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph "Jody" Albertson and sisters, Irene Eisenhower, Rosie Albertson, Jo Ann Blankenship and Myrtle Albertson.

Katherine had lived in the Hugo area for the past 30 years. She married the love of her life, Charles Hood, on November 17, 1969, in Bethany, OK. Katherine loved to take care of her family and home as a homemaker and also worked as a custodian at Okmulgee Tech for many years. She was a member of the OHCA and a devoted member of the New Hope Church of God. Katherine loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, and she will be greatly missed by all those fortunate enough to know her.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Charles Hood of the home; son, Thomas Hood and wife, Christie of Hugo, OK; daughter, Theresa Green and spouse, Norman Hinckley of Midwest City, OK; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
