Karen Paulette Scott, 71, was born on January 26, 1951, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of W.T. Green and Donna (Teague) Green. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Pamela Morman. Karen married Jack Hubert Scott on May 16, 1984, in Rockwall, Texas.

Karen was born in Hugo and lived most of her life in the Dallas area. She enjoyed quilting, camping and taking care of her home and family. Karen loved riding in her golf cart, cooking and decorating but above all, she loved her family. Karen's family brought great joy to her life. She loved being a Grandma and especially loved spending time with her grandkids. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Karen is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jack Scott; sons, Jeffrey Richards and spouse Justine of The Colony, TX, Jackie Scott and spouse, Andrea of Arlington, TX and Joshua Scott and spouse Kimberly LaChance of Howe, TX; daughter, Jennifer Brittian and spouse Marcus Jackson of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Billie, Allie, Katherine, Jaden, Jestiny, P.J. Marcedes, Grayson, Addison, Finley, Jacob, Riley, Tristan, Emma, Ashley, Hunter, Nick, Destiny, Chloe, Marcus, Jr., Blake, and Gage; great grandchildren, Kayson, Tatum, Carter, and Callie; brother, Billy Don Green and spouse Vivian of Austin, TX; sisters, Tonya Finley and spouse Greg of Hugo, OK and Shery McManus of Hugo, OK along with a host of friends and loved ones.
