Justin Wade Summerville was born on January 23, 1981 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was raised in Boswell, Oklahoma then moving to Antlers, Oklahoma in 2011. Justin tragically departed this life on September 1, 2022 at the age of 41. Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Ella Summerville and great grandparents, Otis and Myrtle Summerville.

Justin was a graduate of Boswell High School, class of 1999.  He was the starting center of the #1 ranked Boswell basketball team that went to the State tournament.  Justin will be remembered as the man who tipped in the game winning shot at the state tournament game and "before the buzzer."  He was the big man on the court, and many of the young students of Boswell Schools looked up to him as a hero.  Upon graduation he attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelor of Science. Justin worked in the oil field industry for over 17 years. In 2006, he met his wife, Krissy Summerville, they married on April 6, 2013 in Durant, Oklahoma. Justin loved sports, especially basketball and football. He also enjoyed being outdoors, loved to hunt, fish, go camping and working his cattle. However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife and family.

Justin was a man with a very strong work ethic and did not disappoint when it came to providing for his loved ones. He never hesitated when asked to help a friend or family member in need. Justin took great pride in spending time with his nieces and nephews, he loved to mentor them and teach them the ways of life. Justin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Justin's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving wife, Krissy Summerville of Antlers, OK; son, Gavin Summerville of Idabel, OK; daughter, Brylei Thompson of Antlers, OK; parents, Jeff and Joy Guthrie of Boswell, OK; brother, Joey Rutledge and wife, Kelly of Soper; granny, Shirley Routon of Hugo, OK; father and mother in-law, Eddie and Leslie Lawler of Hugo, OK; along with numerous loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, sister in-laws and loved ones.
