Judy (Humphries) Babcock, 80, was born on May 29, 1946 in Hugo, Oklahoma, to Edd and Eva Humphries. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Sam Babcock; her son, Elmer Lindamood; her daughter, Cheryl Trayling and her half-brother, Raymond Humphries.

Judy lived in Hugo all of her life until May of 2021 when she moved to Texas to be near her son and his family. She worked for Baptist Village for more than 44 years and loved working with elderly people. Judy enjoyed reading her Hugo paper, listening to music, watching TV and going out to eat with her friends and family. Before moving to Texas Judy enjoyed eating lunch with her friend Diane and her daughter and visiting her friend Lee Ann. She loved talking and visiting with her cousin Lela and also loved talking on the phone with Betty, Ruthie and Brenda.

Judy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Angel Lindamood of Farmersville, TX; brother, Jerry Humphries of TX; 3 grandchildren, Patricia Trayling of West Wisconsin, Cody Lindamood and wife, Carol Lynn of Leaonard, TX and Lexi Lindamood of Farmersville, TX; 2 great grandchildren, Bentlee and Ray Lynn; 2 nephews, James Humphries of Broken Bow, OK and Issac Humphries of Dallas, TX and niece, Shawna Humphries of Dallas, TX.

In lieu of flowers, Judy requested that donations be made to Springs Chapel Cemetery for upkeep and maintenance of the grounds.
