Juan "John" Pablo Rodriguez, 81, passed on from this life on August 12, 2026, at his home in Grant, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loving family.

Juan was born on February 12, 1945, in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Pablo Rodriguez and Juanita (Mejia) Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Juan Rodriuez, Jr.; and siblings, Pauline Rolens, Lenard Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez, Minerva "Minnie" Rodriguez, Ramona Casillas, Ruben Rodriguez, Maria Hughes, and Gloria Rodriguez.

Juan was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and at the age of 17 he joined the United States Army. He proudly served his country for three years where he was stationed in Germany and then at Fort Hood; he earned several commendations for his service as well as his GED. After being honorably discharged, he returned to San Antonio and later moved to Janesville, Wisconsin. Juan began his career at General Motors and worked as a Journeyman, eventually working his way up the ladder to lead man, retiring after 31 years. During this time, he married his beloved wife, Gloria Medina, on February 15, 2002, and together they moved to Juan's ranch in Grant, Oklahoma, after his retirement in 2006.

Beyond his professional career, Juan enjoyed staying active and being outdoors. Fishing, traveling with family and always working on some sort of project or caring for his animals, he loved staying busy. Football was something that Juan took very seriously, especially his Dallas Cowboys. If there was a game on, Juan was watching it and attended a game yearly. He was also very passionate about helping veterans whenever he could and donated to veterans programs often. Holidays and family reunions were also something that Juan held dear to his heart. Whether it was confetti eggs at Easter or him dressing up as Santa Claus at Christmas, these traditions will be cherished and remembered for generations to come. Above all else, Juan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He loved his family beyond measures, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him forever.

Juan is survived by his loving family; his wife, Gloria Rodriguez; daughters, Stefanie Rodriguez of Saint Paul, MN, Jessica Cantu of Durant, OK, Alexzandra Hill of Hugo, OK and Samantha Cantu of Paris, TX; grandchildren, Uriah Weidner-Rodriguez, Nevaeh Phanlith (spouse Max Genrich), Niilo Phanlith, Jordan Hill Jr, Mason Cantu, David Nereu III, Maleah Cantu, Anylah Hill, Solene Acevedo, Joriah Hill, Jori Stafford, Jordan Stafford Jr, Ace Woods; sister, Catherine Miller of Sawyer, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
