Joyce Juanita (Lumpkin) Turpin was born on April 3, 1938 in Coalgate, OK, the daughter of Carl Lumpkin and Leona (Linton) Lumpkin.  She passed from this life on November 30, 2022 in Cooper, Texas at the age of 84 years.  Joyce married Dellie Turpin in September of 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK.  She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her daughter, Carla Grubbs.

Joyce lived most of her life in Tuttle, Oklahoma.  She loved to shop, enjoyed planting vegetable gardens, and her favorite fruit trees.  Joyce had a passion to travel, and especially with her beloved husband by her side.  She loved her family, especially her husband, kids, and grandkids.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Steven Turpin of Boswell, OK, Carl Wade Turpin of Tuttle, OK; a brother, Carl Lumpkin and wife Martha of Tuttle, OK; grandchildren, Jeremy Turpin, Nicole Hollis, Kyle Turpin, Nolan Grubbs, Taylor Grubbs, Tyler Turpin, and Shane Turpin; 15 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
