Johnnie Kay Ethridge, 65 was born on August 15, 1957, in Hugo, Oklahoma the daughter of John Wesley Cochran and Gladys Inez (Arnell) Cochran. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Ethridge; brothers, Donny Murrell and John Cochran.

Kay was a lifelong resident of Hugo and a member of Assembly of God. She enjoyed painting, working on crafts and dancing like she was the dancing queen. Kay loved being outside working in her yard, but she especially loved scary movies and tv shows. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kay is survived by her sons, Thomas "Bubba" Ethridge of Hugo, OK and Soloman "Chief" Bacon, Jr. of Hugo, OK; daughter, Sherry Kay Oakes of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Keegan Ethridge, Ethan Ethridge, Lexi Ethridge, Shyanne Bacon and Silas Bacon; great grandchild, Asher Ethridge;  brothers, Joe Cochran of Mesquite, TX, Larry Murrell of Dallas, TX, Ronnie Henderson of Katy, TX and Lewis Henderson of MO; sisters, Lois Burk of Maryville, MO and Vernie Smart of Rosebud, TX along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
