John William Jenkins was born January 17, 1963 in Greenville, TX, the son of Kenneth Jenkins and Katheryne (Rogers) Jenkins.  He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenny Jenkins; and sister, Sally Waller.

John enjoyed fishing and was an automotive mechanic.  He loved working on things.  John drove a truck for years and enjoyed being on the road.  He was a wonderful father, loved his kids, and any kids he claimed as his own.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by the mother of his children, Christy Jenkins; sons, John Austin Jenkins and wife Savana, Kenny Jenkins and wife Joanna; daughters, Ashley Jenkins and Brandi Kenner; brother, Ben Kenner and wife Ester; sister, Elaine Burk and husband Gerald; 3 grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
