Joe Wheeler Fennell was born on December 22, 1950 in Valliant, Oklahoma to Albert and Mary Jo (O'Bannon) Fennell. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve Fennell; sisters Phyllis Miller and Barbara Cline.

Joe was born and raised in Valliant, Oklahoma and on July 3 ^rd , 1970, he married Rebecca Bean at Slim Church. He worked as a saw filer for Weyerhaeuser for 35 years and was also a member of the Pine Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Joe loved anything to do with being outdoors. In his younger years, he enjoyed ranching work and taking care of the cattle and horses. Deer season was a favorite time of year for Joe and he loved being able to go to deer camp. He was an early riser and started his day every morning at 3:00 AM, without fail. Joe liked building things and was good at it. Family was especially important to Joe and he dearly loved his grandbabies. Joe will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his wife, Rebecca; sons, Matt Fennell of Valliant, OK and AJ Fennell of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Kyle Fennell, McKenize Fennell, Becca Fennell, Ty Fennell of the home; along with two other grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Robert Fennell of Paris, TX; sister, Margaret May of Valliant, OK; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
