Thomas Joseph "Joe" Dickerson, 84, was born on January 20, 1939 in Murphy, TX to John Hale and Maxie (Jones) Dickerson. He was preceded in death by both parents, his beloved wife, Jo Ann Dickerson and his brother, Johnny Dickerson.

Joe married Jo Ann Hughes on March 7, 1964 in Garland, TX. He worked with his dad building Garland Motor Service, a full-service auto experience providing auto paint and body, mechanics, wrecker, and used car sales. After the loss of his father, they moved to Garvin, OK where they made their home and Joe focused on the used car sales. He owned and operated the Ford Dealership in Idabel, OK in the 80's and worked at many other dealerships in the area until his retirement. In his free time, Joe enjoyed raising cattle and loved spending time with his loving wife and family. He was a very meticulous and thoughtful man. Family fishing trips to Port Aransas, TX were a must every year for him and Jo Ann. Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his sisters, Sally Woolly of Royse City, TX and Brenda Wheelock of Dallas, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
