Jo Ann (Jackson) Parker, 87, went to her heavenly home on March 12, 2026, passing in Denison, Texas. She was born on October 31, 1938, in Denison, Texas, the daughter of JD Jackson and Lena Mae (Jones) Pebworth. Jo Ann was preceded by her father, JD Jackson; mother and step father, Mae and Elbert Pebworth; her first husband, KG Anderson; her second husband, Thomas "Neil" Parker; son, Charles Anderson; and grandson, James Lindamood.

Jo Ann grew up in Boswell, Oklahoma and was a proud graduate of Boswell High School, Class of 1957. After graduating, she spent some time in Dallas, Texas, and later returned home to Boswell. Jo Ann married her husband, Neil in 1984, and together they worked as insurance agents for American Farmers and Ranchers Insurance. Together they were very active in the Boswell community and truly loved their town.

Beyond Jo Ann's professional career, she had a passion for the arts that was evident in every stroke of her paintbrush and every craft she created. She would often create things with and for her loved ones. Jo Ann also enjoyed watching the classic western "Gunsmoke" and making the occasional trip to the casino. Halloween held a special place in Jo Ann's heart, not just because she shared her birthday with the holiday, but because it was an opportunity for her to connect with her community. She loved handing out candy to the neighborhood children and everyone knew that her house was the place to get the best full size candy bars.

Above all else, Jo Ann poured her life into her family, a testament to her unwavering commitment and love. She was the cornerstone of her family, offering guidance, support, and an endless supply of hugs and encouragement. Her selfless nature ensured that her family's needs were always met with a warm smile and a gentle touch. Those who knew Jo Ann will remember her as a woman who gave unconditionally. She lived life to the fullest, marked by the immeasurable impact she had on her family, friends, and community. Jo Ann's light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Jo Ann is survived by her loving family; son, Ken Anderson and wife, Jackie; daughter, Kaina Anderson; grandchildren, Laura Williams and husband, Aaron, Jason Lindamood, Karl Lindamood, and Gary Rodgers; great grandchildren, Abbygaill Lindamood, Brennon Williams, Rylie Williams, and Austin Rodgers; Special Life-Long  Friend, John Bennett; along with a host of other family, friends and loved one.
