Jo Ann Bruton was born on February 19, 1929, in Dewey, Oklahoma,  the daughter of Nolan A. Reed and Mattie (Straw). She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bruce Hostetler; first husband, Thomas Edwin Hostetler; second husband Ben Bruton and sister,  Wanda Lou Hollenbeck.

Jody was a resident of Hugo, Oklahoma for over 17 years and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a hard worker and truly had a servant's heart. Jody enjoyed serving behind the scenes and was a dedicated prayer warrior. She loved to cook and enjoyed dancing. Jody always kept her yard in beautiful shape and enjoyed planting different kinds of plants around her home. Jody loved her family but above all things she loved the Lord.

Jody is survived by her sons, Leon Hostetler and wife Sandi of Lakeside, CA and Jay Hostetler of Alpine, CA; daughter, Jody Griffith and husband Robert of Messer, OK; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren;  2 great great grandchildren and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
