Jimmy Worley was born on January 7, 1941, in Dougherty, OK the son of Ruth Matthews. He was raised by his grandfather, Ford Montgomery and his stepfather, Harvey Mathews.

Jimmy married the love of his life, Lavenia Ward, on March 20, 1974 at Wheelock Academy. Jimmy loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting and  fishing. Jimmy retired from UPS after 25 years as a diesel mechanic in Oklahoma City. After retirement he enjoyed tinkering around his home, sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds and squirrels. Jimmy loved animals, especially his two dogs and constant companions, Sparky and Patches. Jimmy loved taking care of his cows and had a name for each one. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Lavenia of the home; sons, Andy Worley, Phillip Worley and wife, Francis; daughter, Donna January and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Brandon, Blade, Joanna, Karrie, Leon and Jennifer; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
