Jimmy Wayne Nesbit, 71, was born on June 30, 1953, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Rupert Leroy "Perk" Nesbit and Carmen (Purtell) Nesbit. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim was a lifelong resident of Hugo, Oklahoma and a graduate of Hugo High School, Class of 1971. He married his beloved wife, Deanna Squires on November 26, 1976, in Durant, Oklahoma.

Jim was an outstanding athlete and participated in football, baseball, tennis, and golf. Jim was also an avid sports fan and he especially loved watching OU Softball. He was a man of integrity, honest and dependable. Jim deeply loved his family, but above all else he loved the Lord.

Jim's passing has left a void in the lives of his family, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deanna Nesbit; son, Michael Nesbit and wife Jennifer of Powderly, TX; daughter, Michelle Gibson and husband Dan of Hugo, OK; grandchildren, Lukas Wayne Nesbit, Jehma Alise Nesbit, Carson Alexander Thomas Nesbit, Carmen Adelynn Nesbit, Adriana Eloise Nesbit, Emory Ruth Gibson and Darcy Jewel Gibson; sister, Linda Copeland and husband Wiley of Hugo, OK; sister in law Deborah Albrand along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.
