Jessie Daniels, age 36, of Valliant, Oklahoma, passed away on March 4, 2026.

Jessie had a deep love for the outdoors and began fishing at an early age. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was known for being an excellent shot. He could shoot skeet like nobody's business and took pride in his marksmanship. Jessie also loved the water and could hold his breath underwater longer than anyone around him.

Jessie had many friends he ran the river bottoms with, and those times spent outdoors with them were some of his best memories. The outdoors was where he felt most at home.

At the age of 16, Jessie's life changed when he became a quadriplegic. For the next 20 years, he faced many challenges with strength and resilience. During those years, he was lovingly cared for by his mother, who remained by his side through the many challenges he faced. In recent years, his health struggles became increasingly difficult, but he continued to be surrounded by the love and support of his family.

While his passing leaves deep sadness for those who loved him, his family takes comfort in knowing that Jessie is finally at peace and no longer suffering.

Jessie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and Morris Murray of Garvin, Oklahoma, and Betty and Danny Daniels of Valliant, Oklahoma.

Jessie is survived by his parents, Danny Daniels and Cindy Daniels of Valliant, Oklahoma; his sisters, Shelby Daniels Tunnell and husband Jay Tunnell of Valliant, Oklahoma; Tiffany Jeter and husband Jason Jeter of Holly Creek, Oklahoma; and Melissa Sheldon and husband Jon Sheldon of Stephens City, Virginia.

He is also survived by his nieces, TyLe' Sanford, Weslyn Reynolds, Addison Christie, and Hazley Tom, and his nephew, River Rudisill.

Jessie is further survived by his maternal aunts, Karen Hudgins and Sharen Matlock; his maternal uncle, Jim Murray; and his paternal uncle, Rickey Daniels and wife Laura Daniels, along with many other extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Jessie will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his passion for hunting and fishing, and the strength he showed throughout the many challenges he faced.
