Jesse Swan Smith, 87, was born November 24,1936, in Valliant, Oklahoma, the son of Thomas and Ollie (Stanford) Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Carlene Smith; daughter, Lorri Anglin and brother, Raymond Smith.

Jesse was a lifelong resident of Valliant, Oklahoma and married Carlene Norman on December 19, 1959 in Valliant, Oklahoma. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, going to thrift stores, reading westerns, was a big sports fan and enjoyed being in the great outdoors. Jesse worked as an accountant for a large construction company after his graduation from Oklahoma State University. He was a highly respected member of his church, and he truly worshipped the Lord. Jesse will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Jesse is survived by his daughter, Eulinda Smith of Cashion, OK; grandchildren, Ashlea Musante, Hollie Bullock, Erika Escher, Robert Anglin, Brandon Escher, Sherie Murry and Krista Anglin; great grandchildren, Evelynn Bullock, Elizabeth Anglin, Jesse Murry, Jr., Coleton Murry and Savannah Murry; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
