Thelma Jean (Carlile) Morton, 82, was born on December 29, 1943 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Loyd Pershing Carlile and Cora Alline (Record) Carlile. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Morton; granddaughter, Shawnlynn Pool and brothers, Willard Carlile and Ernest Carlile.

Jean lived in Hugo her entire life and graduated from Hugo High School in 1961. She married the love of her life, Jesse Morton, on June 16, 1962 at the Wesley Methodist Church in Hugo. Jean served as a dedicated Dental Assistant at the Lance Wyche Dental Clinic for 20 years, where she offered warm smiles and comfort to all her patients. Jean was an avid gardener, tending to her flower beds with the same care and attention that she gave to every aspect of her life. She loved cooking, baking and watching her favorite westerns. Jean enjoyed playing 42 and chicken foot, which she played with a fun competitive spirit, bringing together friends and family for memorable evenings. She was a friend to everyone she met and touched many lives with her warmth and generosity. Above all, Jean cherished the time spent with her family and showered her grandchildren with love. Jean's memory will be celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.

Jean is survived by her children Mark Morton and wife, Wanda of Hugo, OK and Cindy Park and husband, Mike of Hugo, OK; grandchildren, Kelly Park and wife, Sharla, Dustin Park and wife, Hilory, Ashley Brewer and husband, DeWayne, Blake Morton and wife, Abby, Nicholas Morton, Garrett Staneart and wife, Jennifer and Clayton Staneart; great grandchildren, Drew Park, Cole Park, Alaina Park, Peyton Hardin, Liam Park, William Hardin, Paxton Brewer, Zoey Staneart, Lexi Staneart, Conner Park, Kamdyn Park and Evan Morton; brothers, Jimmy Carlile and wife, Dora of Hugo, OK and W.D. Carlile and wife, Kim of Hugo, OK; sisters, Patricia Porter and husband, Shorty of Hugo, OK and Martha Morrison and husband, Gene of AR; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other family members, friends and loved ones.
