Jacob Allen Mays was born on May 11, 1999, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Kenneth Scott Mays and Rosana Huffman Damron.

Jacob was a lifelong resident of the Hugo area and enjoyed being around people. He would stay at the lake during the summer to camp. Jacob loved to fish and was an excellent fisherman. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and loved the Lord. Jacob had accepted Jesus as his Saviour and was baptized at Schooler Lake by Bro. Burgie Thompson. He enjoyed going to church and listening to Christian music, especially 99.5, "The Dove". Jacob had a big beautiful smile and he loved his family, especially his Mama.

Jacob is survived by his parents; stepfather, David Damron; brothers, Kenneth Mays, Jr, David Mays, Preston Mays and Mason Mays all of Hugo, OK; sister Emily Damron of Hugo, OK; maternal grandmother, June Huffman of Hugo, OK; paternal grandparents, Pat Hill of Hugo, OK and Kenneth Mays of Soper, OK along with a host of family and loved ones.
