Jackie Lynn Wright, 69, was born on October 8, 1955, in Groesbeck, Texas, the son of Sam Ewing Wright and Johnnie Ree (Cobb) Wright-Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tim Wright.

Jackie grew up in Groesbeck, TX but had lived in the Hugo area for the past 20 years. He worked as a transit driver for many years in Weatherford and then for Little Dixie after moving to Hugo. Jackie enjoyed tinkering on things and found joy in anything that could be fixed. He liked being outdoors and going fishing and camping. Jackie was a gifted storyteller and loved talking and visiting with his friends and family. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and loved his dogs. Jackie loved his family deeply and they will miss him beyond measure.

Jackie is survived by his stepdaughters, Susan Kizer, Robin Orear, Crista Guthrie, Brandi Jean and Teri Wingate; special granddaughter, Hannah Guthrie of Hugo, OK; brothers, Terry Wright and wife, Pat of Hugo, OK and Randy Wright of Jacksonville, TX; sisters, Susan Lenamon and husband, Bobby of Groesbeck, TX and Donna Cameron and husband, Edward of Summerville, TX; numerous other step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members, friends and loved ones.
