Jackie Ruth Micou, age 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at her son's home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She was born on May 12, 1941, in Haworth, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ralph and Hazel (Roberson) Peters.

Jackie was a woman rooted deep in her Christian faith. She was always willing to share the word of God to anyone that would listen. During her younger days, she loved listening to music from artist like Michael Bolton and adored Elvis Presley. Jackie loved attending The Church of God in Valliant, and she loved to visit with members of the church. Jackie loved many things including Dr Pepper, her favorite movie Wild Hogs, and most of all her family. She was a mail carrier for over ten years. However, Jackie's main profession was being a grandma (AKA GaGa).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Hazel Peters, her husband, Bill Micou, and her daughter, Sarah Lynn.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Sheryl and Lewis King of Tulsa, OK, Amanda and Raymond Christopher of Millerton, OK; son, Terry and Diana Stephens of Sand Springs, OK: sister, Dianna Edwards of Texarkana, TX; brother, Benny Peters of Haworth, OK; eleven grandchildren, eight    great-grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.
