Funeral services for Helen Moore will be held at the Church of God in Valliant, OK, on July 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Leon Tims officiating. Helen went to be with the Lord July 7, 2022, while surrounded by her family, at the age of 80.

Helen May (Cantrell) Moore was born on August 16, 1941, in America, OK, to John Clint and Jewel Jeanette (McBride) Cantrell. She had lived most of her life in the Valliant area and had worked many years at the Valliant Nursing Home as a housekeeper. Helen married her love, Gene Allen Moore, on September 24, 1981, in Clarksville, TX; and together they shared a wonderful marriage until his passing in 1995. She was an avid gardener; she loved to be outside tending to her flowers or sitting on her porch drinking Dr. Pepper while watching her hummingbird feeders. Helen was the rock in the family, a devoted mother, and a loving Mammaw to all her grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her parents, John Clint and Jewel Cantrell; brothers, Larry Cantrell, Carthell Cantrell, Dale Cantrell, Elvis Cantrell, and Calvin Cantrell; sisters, Glenda Peters, Bertha Hughes, and her twin, Ellen Gantt; great-grandchildren, Devin and Dalton Lycklama.

Helen leaves to cherish her memory her children; sons, John McCleskey, and wife Tammy; Leland McCleskey, and wife Shelly, Phillip McCleskey, and wife, Helen's very special daughter-in-law, Sandra, Kenneth Moore and wife, Stephanie; daughters, Teresa Day, and husband Fred, and Shakayla Provence, and husband Shane; Stepsons, Donnie Moore, Mike Moore, and Mark Moore. She also leaves in her memory her sister, Virginia Cunningham; bonus son, Chad Barber; bonus daughter, Charlotte Watson; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
