Hazel "Maw" Davidson was born on October 14, 1933, in Manitou, Oklahoma to Charles Wesley Grooms and Ruby Mae (Brutton) Grooms. Hazel married Charles Davidson in 1952 in Frederick, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; brothers, Elmer Grooms, Murl Grooms, J.W. Grooms and J.C. Grooms; sister, Thelma Petty, nephew, Tom Mckee.

Hazel Davidson retired from Lawton Public Schools and Surplus City. She was a hard worker who loved to play even harder. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, and had a very competitive spirit. Hazel also enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, and spending time with family, especially great grandson, Tanner and great granddaughter, Kaylee, who always held a special place in her heart. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Hazel is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Trent and husband Andy of Soper, OK, Sherri Sallee and husband Jim of Soper, OK; grandchildren, Shamron Trent, Shane Trent, Janell McDonald, Kasey Sallee; great grandchildren, Tanner Trent and Kaylee McDonald; sister, Myrtle Henderson of Edmond, OK; nephew, Tim McKee of Edmond, OK; along with a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
