Haston Jess Boykin, Jr., 69, was born on October 25, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Haston Boykin, Sr. and Mary (Albertson) Boykin. He was preceded in death by his parents; and beloved wife, Donna Jean Boykin.

Haston was a lifelong resident of Choctaw County and a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He married the love of his life, Donna Jean Black on October 5, 1984, in Boswell, Oklahoma. Haston enjoyed deer hunting with his son, Sherman, and photography. He loved sharing the Gospel and was a floating minister, preaching in various churches throughout the county. He enjoyed visiting with people and making them smile. Haston was a rodeo clown, bull fighter and all-around jack of all trades. He will be missed by his family, friends and loved ones.

Haston is survived by his sons, Haston Jess (Skip) Boykin III and wife, Charity of Witter, AR; Sherman Boykin and wife, Emily of Pocola, OK; daughter, Hannah Boykin of Ada, OK; grandchildren, Ben, Faith, Brandon, Timathy, MaKayla, Emily, Ian, Jesse, Maeson, Alayna and Alex; grand dog, Daisy; great grandchildren, Ayden, Eli, Maria, Breaux, Eliotte, Maverick, Naomi, Edalyn, Jayson and one on the way; brother, Tony Boykin and wife, Pam of Hugo, OK; sisters, Donna Francies and husband, Jessie of Hugo, OK and Valerie Needham and husband, Darrell of Soper, OK along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
