Harvey Farrel Dodds, Sr., age 74, was born on May 17, 1948 in Ft. Worth, TX to William Harvey and Cora Bell (Worthey) Dodds. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Corey Dodds; sisters, Betty Burke, Sarah Jamerson and Dorothy Davis; brothers, James Dodds, William H. Dodds, Jr., Jimmy E. Dodds and William F. Dodds.

Harvey was a resident of Rattan since 1994. He married Wanda Richard on September 3, 1982. Harvey was known for being a hard worker, retiring from TO&E Railroad after 25 years of service. He liked hunting, fishing, junk cars, buried treasure stories, flirting with pretty women and loved his Dr. Pepper and smokes.  Harvey was an avid metal detector hunter, liked to shoot guns and operate heavy equipment. His family came before anything else and he especially loved his grandchildren. Harvey will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Harvey leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Wanda; sons, Harvey Dodds, Jr. and wife, Karen, Joseph Dodds and wife, Robin, Shannon Dodds, Tony Richard and wife, Crystal; daughters, Deann Dodds, Angela Hill and husband, Marty; grandchildren, James, Shawn, Katlyn, Hannah, John-Riley, Leland, Paisley, Jolee-Belle, Tylor, Kristen, Tyler, Sierra, Britney, Cameron, Haley, Corey, Nickolas, Dessirhae, Dylan, Ashley, Lexi, Casyn, Gracie; 28 great grandchildren; brothers, Johnny M. Dodds, Henry E. Dodds, Donald W. Dodds, Walter D. Dodds, Robert L. Dodds; sisters, Louise Rankin, Rosie McClure, Jerri Sue Baken, Peggy Johnston; also a very special cousin, Letty Mae Olsen and good friend, Buford; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
