Gerald Wintz Weathers, 66, was born on September 28, 1957 in San Jose, California, the son of Basil Weathers and Charline (Toney) Weathers. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Wayne Weathers and sister, Rebecca Boggs.

Gerald worked for the United States Postal Service for many years and was known as a friendly face at the Post Office counter. He was a proud United States Army Veteran and loved his country. Gerald enjoyed running, boxing, and watching movies. He loved learning new things, but he especially loved his family. Gerald will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gerald is survived by his son, Wayland Weathers and wife Melissa of Hugo, OK; daughters, Tiffany Salyer and husband Ty of Hugo, OK and Lindsey Weathers of Hugo, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Salyer, Trinity Salyer, Wryland Weathers, Traver Weathers and Trace Salyer; brothers, Ray Weathers of Valliant, OK and Miles Ricky Weathers of Missouri; sister and caretaker, Elizabeth Girod of Hugo, OK, and sister, Tammie Miller of Moscow Mills, MO along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
