George Allan Philpot was born on December 19, 1935, in Boswell, Oklahoma to James Philpot and Isadora Camp Philpot. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Jimmy Philpot and an infant who passed at birth, brother, Charlie Philpot, sisters, Darlene Philpot and Mary Long.

Shorty was born and raised in the Boswell area until he left for the Army to serve his Country. He had been a resident of Mead, Oklahoma since 2008. Shorty was a man of his word, if he said it, he meant it. He was a very avid hunter and fisherman. Shorty loved being around his family and friends and he especially loved spending time with is kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Shorty is survived by his son, Greg Redwine and wife Justina of Muskogee, OK; daughter, Traci Larue and husband Tracy of Arthur City, TX; grandchildren, Josie Redwine, Michael Redwine, Emily Redwine, Samantha Parks, Amanda Livingston and Zackery Parks; great grandchildren, Isiaha Jewell, Mayce Mccoy, Vinny Livingston, Luke Livingston, Landon Livingston, Brooklyn Livingston, Ezzie Parks and Mila Parks; sister, Wanda Esker and husband Bill of Mead, OK along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
