George Clinton Gunter, Jr., 70 was born on September 14, 1951, in Mitchell Oregon, the son of George Clinton Gunter, Sr. and Elsie May (Allen) Gunter. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul Ray Harris.

George was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. He married the love of his life, Vebel "Susie" Watts on August 23, 1971, in Paris, Texas. He was employed by the United States Postal Service and later went to work for Tinker Air Force Base, retiring as a mechanical engineer. George was a loving father, husband and grandpa. He loved playing dominoes and spending time with his grandchildren. George was a fierce protector and provider for his family and would do anything he could to help them. He enjoyed reading, watching westerns, especially Audie Murphy movies. George will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

George is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susie Gunter; son, James Clinton Gunter of Spencerville, OK; daughter, Melissa Dawn Gunter of Oklahoma City, OK; grandsons he adopted and loved as his own, Gabriel Gunter and Bryce Gunter; along with three other grandsons, Austin Gunter, Andrew VanBuskirk and Aaron Vanbuskirk; one great granddaughter, Addison Kay Gunter; sister, Barbara Mills of McCloud, OK along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
