Charles "Gene" Eugene Graham, 96, was born on April 3, 1928, in Watts, Oklahoma, the son of Vol Dewey and Mary "Johnnie" Marie (Motley) Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna Lucille "Lucy" (Flammang) Graham; second wife, Ina Keeling Graham; third wife, Leona Phillips Graham; son, Steve Graham; sisters, Lucille, Edna, Ruby and Allene and brothers, Ralph, Andy and Raymond.

Gene lived in the Sawyer area most of his life and was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving in combat in Korea in 1952-53. He married the love of his life, Lucy, on February 28, 1947, and they lived a happy life together. Gene worked as an auto diesel mechanic and farmed and worked cattle on his land. Later he married Leona Phillips, and they lived in Broken Bow where they enjoyed each other for 20 years. He loved remodeling and selling homes and working with his hands. He also enjoyed going to the VA dances, square dancing and traveling to Arkansas and Missouri to visit his childhood homes and extended family. Gene loved to see and spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and his family and friends will miss him greatly.

Gene is survived by his grandson, Eric Graham of Sawyer, OK, granddaughter, Jenna Beckwith (Cole) of Spencerville, OK; great grandchildren, Savanna Graham (Brock), Josslynn McCarty, Alex Graham and Emma Beckwith; great-great granddaughter, Audessy Bruce; daughter-in-law, Pam Graham; his two loving caregivers, LaVern Lindly and Beth Woodruff, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
