Gary Donald Gantt, 62, of Rufe, Oklahoma, was born on September 14, 1963, in Mound Grove, Oklahoma, the son of Alfred Donald Gantt and Ellen Fay (Cantrell) Gantt. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy Gantt.

Gary was a lifelong resident of McCurtain County, Oklahoma, living mostly in the Rufe and Valliant areas. He worked as a painter and cabin builder with his brother. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing and being a mechanic. He had a heart of gold and loved his little dog, Possum Donald. Above all else, Gary loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gary is survived by his spouse, Stacey Foster; son, Brandon Donison of New York; brothers, Chloey Gantt of Ringold, OK, Danny Gantt and wife, Ruby of Millerton, OK and Wendell Gantt and wife, Holly of Valliant, OK; sister, Rhonda Gantt of Rufe, OK, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family, friends and loved ones.
