Garett Carl Cooper, 46 was born on December 3, 1976, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Thomas Cooper and Mary Glenn Henderson. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas.

Garett grew up in Hugo, Oklahoma and was a graduate of North Lamar High School in Paris, Texas. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed dressing up in his western attire and riding horses. Garett was a very loving, caring and outgoing person. He loved to dance but he especially loved to hang out with his family and friends. Garett will be missed by all who knew him.

Garett is survived by his mother, Mary and stepfather, Johnny Henderson of Hugo, OK; sister, Reanee Glenn and children Chris, Raiheim and Da'Shawn of Norman, OK; sister, Mary Kathryn Cooper and children Koolasha and  Kyza'Juan of Hugo, OK; sister, Sharla Ray and children, Johnny and Otis of Edmond, OK; brothers and families in Portland, Oregon; brother, John Michael Henderson, wife Karen and son Jerry of Hugo, OK; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
