Fred Jamison, 69, was born on June 15, 1955, in Pendleton, Oregon to Troy Cherry and Daisey (Cunningham) Cherry. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Mary Sue Jamison, and sister, Mary Morris.

Fred was a lifelong resident of Rufe, Oklahoma. He loved his job as a skidder driver and was known as one of the best skidder drivers there ever was. Fred married his best friend, Mary Sue Jamison, in Paris, Texas and they had many wonderful years together before her passing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, watching sports and rodeos. Fred loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he treasured. He liked seeing people laugh and was always cutting up and joking with everyone. Fred was truly one of a kind and will be missed by so many friends and family alike.

Fred is survived by his son, Douglas Provence and wife, Telsee of Rufe, OK; daughters, Melissa Wood and husband, Lesley of Rufe, OK, Michelle Provence and wife, Jennifer of Rufe, OK; special nephew, Randy Jamison of Rufe, OK; grandchildren, Marissa Provence, Hannah Provence, Kaylie Provence, Gauge Provence, Mikaya Hall, Christian Cantrell and Kort Wood; brothers, Leroy Jamison and wife, Jan of Greenwood, AR, Michael Broncheau of Oregon; sisters, Katie Case of Ada, OK and Valerie Guzman of Oregon; along with numerous other nephews, nieces, family, friends and loved ones.
