Frank James, age 59, was born on March 12, 1964 in Idabel, OK, the son of Fenley James and Lanell (Fogle) James. He was preceded in death by his father.

Frank was a lifelong resident of McCurtain County, residing mainly in Valliant. He married Ginger Thornburgh on April 8, 1989 in Dallas, TX. Frank and his brother, Jess, ran their own logging business for many years and he also worked cattle on his ranch. He was ornery and he loved to pick on people and make them laugh. His favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. Frank loved his kids and grandkids more than anything and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Ginger of Valliant, OK; mother, Lanell James of Valliant, OK; daughters, Hannah Cowell and husband, Cody of  Valliant, OK, Rachel Mussett and husband, Kolton of Wright City, OK and Erin Jones and husband, Tatokain of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren, Logan Cowell, Caroline Cowell, Kooper Mussett, Rebecca Mussett, Kate Mussett and future grandchild, Isaiah Frank Cowell; brother, Jess James and wife, Pam of Valliant, OK; sisters, Debbie Golden and husband, Ronnie of Spencerville, OK and Dona James of Valliant, OK; along with numerous  nieces, nephews,  family and friends.
