Billie Faye (Mayfield) VanVranken, age 82, was born on July 15, 1940 in Rufe, OK to Bill and Estelle (Gamble) Mayfield. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Faye lived in Norman most of her life and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She owned and operated her own daycare center for over forty years and loved her kids there. They all called her "Faye Faye". She had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. Faye enjoyed working in her yard tending her flowers and was also good at handywork, crochet & embroidery. Above all, she loved her family. Faye and her sisters had a very special bond and made sure to talk every day. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Faye is survived by her son, Jon VanVranken and wife, Melissa of Rufe, OK; daughter, Kim VanVranken of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Jarrod, Garrett, Wyatt, Chris and Megan; four great grandchildren plus one on the way; sisters, Norma Walker of Ponca City, OK, Barbara Messer and husband, CJ of College Station, TX, Nancy Tallant and husband, Don of Purcell, OK; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
