Evert Wayne Bacorn, 89, son of Nelson and Mary (Martin) Bacorn, was born on February 21, 1935 in Rufe, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Mabel Bacorn; siblings, Ledia Mae Campbell, O.J. Bacorn, Jonice Bacorn, Gilbert Bacorn, Charlie Bacorn and Mose Bacorn.

Evert was born and raised in Rufe, Oklahoma. He honorably served his country as a sergeant in the US Army from 1959 to 1962. He married Rachel Salazar on October 1, 1966, and they made their home in Wright City, Oklahoma. Evert enjoyed ranching, planting, working in his garden and hunting. He raised chickens for 21 years for Tyson. Evert liked reading his Bible and spending quality time with his family. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Bacorn of Wright City, OK; children, Debbie Van Meter and husband, Pete of Las Vegas, NV, Sylvia Provence and husband, Wayne of Valliant, OK, Gary Bacorn of Russellville, AR, and Amber Lowe and husband, Brian of Sulphur Springs, TX; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Evalee Cardwell of Kerman, CA and Betty Staggs of Salinas, CA; along with several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
