Edwin Peyton Russell, 75, was born on November 18, 1948, in Houston, Texas, the son of Robert Edwin Russell, Jr. and Lois Inez Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert E. Russell III and David Anthony Russell.

Edwin married his beloved wife, Robin Hedrick, in Liberty, Texas and they made their home in the Sawyer area for the last 25 years. He enjoyed traveling and was able to accomplish that through his work as a lineman. Edwin liked sawing logs and just about anything else that involved the outdoors. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Robin Russell; daughters, Tammy Russell of Baytown, TX and Kim Russell of Hardin, TX; granddaughter Mandaliene Russell of Crosby, TX; siblings, William Morgan Russell and wife, Frances of Dayton, TX, Marie Shepard of Hull, TX, Betty Cox and husband, Lewis of Alto, TX, Bruce Russell of Highlands, TX, Inez Frye Weishuhn and husband, Claude of Livingston, TX, Roberta Russell Fregia and husband, Tommy of Hull, TX, Sue Wille of Fort Smith, AR, Kyle Russell and wife, Renee of Montgomery, LA, Doris Chambers of Shepherd, TX, Caroline Russell of Crosby, TX, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
