Dorothy Jean Bedford Williams, 94, was born on January 7, 1929 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Bedford and Jeffie Gabbert Bedford; husband, Randolph Williams and brother, Bennett L. Bedford.

Dorothy was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and embraced her Choctaw culture and heritage. She lived most of her life in Phoenix, Arizona and was an avid painter who especially enjoyed painting the southwestern landscapes that surrounded her. Dorothy loved Native American history and animals, especially dogs. Dorothy was an actress by trade and had appeared in several movies. She had a deep passion for turquoise jewelry and big sunglasses. She had a vibrant social life and always enjoyed being around people, especially her family and friends. Dorothy has left a legacy of memories for her family and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dorothy is survived by her nephew Michael Bedford of Antlers, Ok. great nephew John David Ketchum and family of Colorado Springs, CO; great-niece Bobbye Jean Carter and family of Finley, OK. great niece Brandi Bedford of Grandview MO, great nephew Brule Bedford of Phoenix, AZ and Misty Strange of Antlers, OK. great-great nephew Blade Strange and family of Antlers, OK. great-great niece, Catlyn Strange of Antlers, OK: several loved great-great nieces and nephews; her long-time caregiver Leona Burke of Miller OK and her best friend Charles Lewis of Phoenix, AZ.
