Dorothy "Kitty" Richard, 78, of Fort Towson, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Hugo. She was born February 10, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Clarence and Beatrice (McArthur) Freeman. She was preceded in death by daughter, Cynthia White; son, Darren White; her parents; former husband, Joe Richard; three great-grandchildren Zayne, Grayson and River; two brothers, Jimmy and Buddy Freeman.

Dorothy formerly owned and operated Kitty's Diner in Valliant, Oklahoma and later a location by the same name in Wright City, Oklahoma.

She enjoyed watching westerns, doing puzzles and word searches, playing cards, and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Benny Perry of Fort Towson; sons, Paul (Gail) White of Fort Towson, Bobby Davis, Allen (Janice) Price of Henryetta; and Wayne of Arkansas; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Perry of Valliant, Kyle (Aimy) White of Antlers, Aundrea White of Crescent, Caitlyn (Tyler) Mullins, Crescent, Trevor (Ann) Davis of Moore, LaTanya Holmes of DeQueen, AR, Steven (Michelle) Price of Fort Towson and Christy Price of Rufe. Also, numerous great-grandchildren, including Jaylee, Camden, Nevaeh, Bridgett, Kyle Jr., Weston; Kamdynn, Preslie and Ayden; Zayden, Payzlee; Samara; Gunner, Summer and Max; Shianne and Stormie. Also, like family to her were her special friends, Charles Pitts, Norma Harkins; her companion's daughter Christene Perry along with her children and their families, Patrick and Katie, Angela and Alberto, Jessica and Carl.

The family will have visitation at Benny's home in Fort Towson. Services will be graveside Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Valliant Cemetery. Miller & Miller Funeral Home of Valliant is in charge of arrangements.
