Dorothy Gene Killian, 65, was born on May 30, 1959, in Clinton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hubert Carter and Irene (Harris) Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Curtis Carter, Johnny Lee Carter, Billy Joe Carter and sister, Imogene Carter.

Dorothy grew up in the Garvin, Oklahoma area and spent most of her life in McCurtain County. She married her loving husband, Charles Killian, on September 30, 1996, at his home in Honey Grove, Texas and there they started their life together.

Dorothy enjoyed hunting a good bargain, loving to go to flea markets and garage sales. She loved watching her soap operas and never missed an episode of Young and the Restless. Dorothy also enjoyed working in her flower beds. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them. Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Charles Killian of the home; brothers, Kenneth Carter of Valliant, OK and Louis Wayne Carter of Decatur, TX; sister, Margarette Graham of Garvin, OK; stepchildren, Mandy, Brandy, Toby and Delisa Belew; 8 step grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
