Donald Duane Scaff, 49, was born on November 25, 1975 in Pasadena, Texas the son of Charles "Chuck" Scaff and Rebecca "Beckie" (Loper) Mackey. He was preceded in death by his father.

Donald "Melon" Scaff lived in the Hugo area for most of his life and graduated from Hugo High School, Class of 1994. He worked as a welder on pipelines all over the country. He was an avid outdoorsman; loving to hunt and fish, especially for crappie. He also was known for his ability to fix anything and enjoyed tinkering on different things around his home. Melon enjoyed having a good time, was a true friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Donald is survived by sons, Thomas Scaff, Rhett Scaff and Cole Irvin; daughter, MaKenna Scaff; grandchildren, Bryce Scaff, Aalayah Scaff, Fallyn Irvin and Oaklyn Irvin; brother, Charlie Scaff and wife, Janet; sister, Sheina McClanahan; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, friends and loved ones.
