Doc Lennis Rudder was born in Oklahoma on February 16, 1952, to David Lennis Rudder and Vera Arlene Will. He went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2025, in Paris, Texas.

Doc was a happy person. He was always whistling and loved to sing gospel songs. Doc attended many churches and loved God. In his younger years, he was a house painter by trade. His family believes he is in a much better place now. Doc will definitely be missed by many people.

Doc is survived by his daughter, Melissa and Jason Carey of CO; stepson, Todd Keeling of CO; his brothers, Craig Clinkenbeard of CO, Ronny (Buddy) Rudder of OK; sisters, Norma J. Thomas of CA, Tina M. Etherton, of AZ, Sarah Rudder of OK, Linda Scott of OK; grandchildren, Jason Carey, Jr. of CO, Colton Carey of CO; and his four legged grandson, Duke of CO (As he always said).

Doc is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lonnie Rudder; his sisters, Johanna Clinkenbeard and Vickie Rudder; and his sons, Aaron David Rudder and Doc Lennis Rudder, Jr.
