Dennis "Zane" Houston, 72, was born on November 21, 1952, in Phoenix, Arizona; the son of Charles Allen Houston and Ruth Lovelle (Christopher) Houston. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Houston, and his brothers, Bruce Houston and Trent Houston.

Zane grew up in Phoenix and later moved to the McCurtain County area to be closer to his family. He was a lifelong jeweler and his true passion was in making unique jewelry items which he enjoyed selling. Zane owned and operated jewelry stores in California, Honolulu and Las Vegas, among other places. He was a welcoming host who loved having family and friends come for a visit or vacation. Zane loved his dogs more than anything else and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Houston; sister, Lori Houston Bliesmer of Valliant, OK; brother, Kevin Houston and wife, Terri of Idabel, OK; nephew, Travis Carter of Georgia; along with a host of other friends and loved ones.
