Debbie Smith, age 67, was born on October 2, 1955 in Prineville, OR to Conzia Smalling and Mildred (England) Smalling. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dr. Ronnie Smalling.

Debbie moved to Broken Bow, OK as a child and was a 1973 graduate of Broken Bow High School. She went on to further her education, earning a bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in education. She was also a sorority sister of the Alpha Iota sorority. Debbie married the love of her life, Johnnie Smith on July 18, 1987, and they resided in Valliant, OK. She loved sewing, quilting, cooking, traveling and was also a member of the Pine Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Debbie retired as a school teacher from Rattan Public Schools. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Debbie truly loved the Lord and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in the Slim Community. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Johnnie Smith; sons, Leslie Hilburn and wife, Jennifer of Grand Prairie, TX, Andrew Ryan Hilburn of McAlester, Ok and Joseph Ryan Smith and Nikki Burton of Valliant,  OK; grandchildren, Lane Brown, Micah Hilburn, Kaia Hilburn, Alexander Ryan Hilburn, Natalie Grace Hilburn, Jaden Rylea Smith, Jaci Rae Fuller and Jacob Wesley Fuller; brother-in-law, Lonnie Smith and wife, Annette of Valliant, OK; sister, Denise Brinkley of Springfield, MO; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
