Darrell Ray Brown, 71, was born on August 24, 1953, the son of Gordon Brown and Juanita (Peyton) Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Brown and uncle, Charlie Brown.

Darrell lived in Boswell all his life and graduated from Boswell High School, Class of 1972. He was a welder and worked in construction and enjoyed tradesman work. He was also a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. Darrell enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to deer camp with his family and helping his kids. Most of all, Darrell loved spending time at family gatherings and being with his kids and grandkids. He will be deeply missed by his family and all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Darrell is survived by his sons, Stacy Brown and wife, Jonie of Boswell, OK, Tracy Brown and wife, Windy of Boswell, OK and Zachariah Brown of Mesquite, TX; daughter, Carla Miller and husband, Russell of Boswell, OK; grandchildren, Tracy Lee Brown and wife, Hillary, Caleb Brown and wife, Michelle, Blaine Brown and spouse, Kaylee, Darin Brown and spouse, Jacy and Jaden Brown; great grandchildren, Jagger, Collins, Cory, Juniper, Brynlee, Kinlee, Blakelynn, Gracen, Haisen and Delcee; brother, Jerry Lee Brown of Elk City, OK and sister, Sue Betancourt of Waxahachie, TX along with a host of other family friends and loved ones.
