James Craig Weston passed away, April 11, 2025, at his home in Fort Towson, Oklahoma, surrounded by family after being diagnosed with lung cancer. He was born January 2, 1951 in San Antonio, TX.

Craig is survived by his wife Anita Kay Weston; children, James and wife Alicia, Casey, Spencer and Stephanie, Michelle Foster and husband Jeff, Jeremy Grimmett and wife Lindsay; grandchildren, Levi, Roxanne, July Weston Alexandra and McKenna Grimmett.  He is also survived by a brother Bobby, (Joanne) and sister, Beverly McKinney (James). He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and LaRue Weston of Hugo, Okla.

Craig served in the Navy with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He received medals of honor for expert rifleman, Vietnam Campaign and National Defense and his service.  He was a proud part of the Seabees.

Craig worked at the Weyerhaeuser paper mill in Valliant, Oklahoma for Brown & Root as a maintenance supervisor for 32 years. He finished his 43 year career at the Pine Hill, AL, International Paper Mill as a maintenance supervisor.

Craig made many long-lasting friendships during his career.  He will be greatly missed and was loved by everyone.
