It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colton Ross Butler, born May 17, 1997, who departed this life on March 22, 2025, at the age of 27.

Colton had a deep love for music, finding joy in listening, writing, and singing. His greatest treasures were the times spent with his children, Braylon Butler and Tae'Zon Butler, and his cherished moments with his little brother, Carter Daniels. Colton's passion for life was evident in his dedication to his work, where he contributed his skills to Tri-Lakes as a maintenance professional and more recently to PSSI-Tyson Foods.

Colton was preceded in death by his loving parents, LaSonya Butler and Darren E. Byrd, and his grandfathers, Larry Butler and Billy Ray Byrd Sr. He is survived by his grandmothers, Lois Butler and Thelma Johnson, who played an instrumental role in shaping his life with love and guidance.

Colton leaves behind a devoted family, including his siblings: brothers Carter Daniels, Darnell Wallace, and Marquell McFalls, and sister Kiara Byrd. He will also be remembered by his uncles, Terrell Butler (Bonnie), Terence Butler, Norman T. Byrd (Alisha), Billy Byrd Jr. (Angela), and Reggie C. Byrd (LaTisha), as well as his aunt, Mary Whitfield (Jason).

Colton's legacy is one of love, joy, and creativity. His family and friends will forever hold his memory close in their hearts.

Services to honor Colton's life will be Saturday March 29, 2025, at 11:00am at Olive Branch Baptist Church Valliant, Oklahoma with Dr. Burnis Jr officiating. The family requests that flowers be delivered to Miller and Miller Funeral Home in Valliant, OK.
